OLD VINES PAVILION - LOWER VILLAGE, KENNEBUNK, MAINE

The owners wanted to launch a new kind of daytime restaurant, where guests enjoy a casual environment, and a healthy, family-friendly, Maine-inspired menu, in an open and airy patio. The flexibility of the space is what will set it apart: a large, open room, anchored on one end by a bar, all under a striking glass and steel three season retractable roof. On sunny days, customers will dine al fresco. When weather turns, the roof will close and everyone stays dry and warm. The season is short, and this will allow Old Vines to extend what so many guests enjoy – dining outside.

Much thought and care has gone into considering the surroundings to ensure the building’s scale, architecture, and environmental footprint complement the eclectic, historic nature of our neighborhood.
